Readathon


Do you love reading? Do you love dogs? Then follow the paw prints to a Paw Readathon!

On Saturday, November 4th and Saturday, December 2nd from 11:00 to 11:30 a.m., Husker the Therapy Dog will be in the Wicki-Up to listen to kids 7 and older read their favorite books aloud.

Kids, this is a great chance to get extra practice reading aloud in a fun location, meet new friends who share your love of reading, and of course, visit with Husker the Dog.

No need to pre-register, just check in at the Children’s Desk when you arrive. Remember to bring your favorite title to read to Husker or take a moment to select a book here at the Library!

Halloween happenings, strange and spooky! You won’t want to miss this frightfully funny and hilariously scary Family Entertainment Night at the Mission Viejo Library. Kids ages 6 to 12 and their parents are invited to wear their costumes and enjoy these most electrifying events: screaming magic show, spine-chilling stories, trick or treating, spooky snacks, and more unexpected surprises!
