Summer Reading Program, 2006
@ the Mission Viejo Library


The Summer Reading Program (SRP) for children will bound, crawl, slither, and hop into the library beginning on Saturday, June 24th! The program features an animal-themed reading game for children aged 0 to 12 that includes prizes for reading and chances to win big in our grand prize drawing.

The SRP also features the following special events during the summer months: PAWS Readathons (children can register to read to Husker, the trained therapy dog) on July 1 and August 3 from 11:00a.m. -11:40 p.m., a comedy, magic, and juggling show on June 24, from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m., a musical puppet show on July 8, from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. Children can also participate in animal storytimes and songs, an origami workshop, and bubble blowing adventures.

Hurry in to sign up for this years SRP! The fun ends on August 5th.
